A wounding case occurred in Kowloon City.

At midnight, a seven-seater car was driving along Prince Edward Road west towards Kwun Tong. When it was near Longgang Road, a BMW suddenly rushed to the front gate to stop the seven-seater car. At least three snipers rushed out of the car and used hard objects. Blasted the window of a seven-person car, and then cut the hands, feet and face of the male driver on the car with a knife.

It is reported that someone pulled the male driver out of the car and snatched his car, but he lost control and crashed into a barrier when he drove a block ahead to off of Seongnam Road.

After a group of swordsmen succeeded, they boarded their private cars and fled.

A neighbourhood witnessed a report, and an ambulanceman came to check on the injured. Fortunately, he was still conscious, but he was semi-comatose.

After initial first aid, he was sent to hospital for treatment.

Police officers blocked off the scene for investigation and carried out "stop operations", setting up road bullets on nearby roads to intercept suspicious vehicles.

No one has been arrested for the time being.

The victim's surname is Ye, 27 years old.

His wife was notified afterwards and rushed to the scene to understand the situation and coordinate the investigation. The police are now understanding the motive of the suspect.

The police said they received a report from a 27-year-old male with the surname Ye at 0:17 am, saying that he was attacked by three or four men with knives off No. 2 Longgang Road, Kowloon City, for unknown reasons.

The knifeman then fled in a private car towards Mong Kok.

Police officers arrived at the scene and found Yip was injured, so he was soberly sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

After preliminary investigation, the case was classified as a wounding person and was handed over to the Criminal Investigation Team of the Kowloon City Police District for follow-up. No one has been arrested yet.

The injured man named Ye suffered multiple injuries throughout his body.

According to the police, the suspects involved were about 3 to 4 local men, aged about 20 to 30 years old, about 1.7 meters tall, and wearing black shirts and trousers at the time of the crime.
