In the last hours the news of the sale of a

luxurious

collector's

book

about the life of

Diego Armando Maradona

(1960-2020), called "The Maradona Opus", was known.

The funny thing is that the unpublished book was published by the English company Opus and has, as they promote,

an exclusive interview that the Ten gave to journalist Matt Dickinson before his death.

In addition,

the prologue was made by Pelé

.

And he has phrases from former Maradona teammates, as well as from Portuguese coach José Mourinho, Englishman Gary Lineker and Lionel Messi.

The book "The Maradona Opus" makes a journey of the trajectory of the star.

There are 250 pages of premium tissue paper with 300 unpublished photos

from his private collection and other iconic ones that review his career, from his beginnings in Villa Fiorito to his consecration in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.

A

limited edition of only 1010 copies

is already on sale

.

As promised, signed one by one by Diego himself.

The striking detail is also that

each volume comes with a pair of white gloves to avoid staining

its pages while reading it.

As promoted by the Opus publishing house, the book "The Maradona Opus" brings an exclusive note with the Ten.

"With a combined weight of 15 kg, the Opus is presented in a luxurious

,

handcrafted

, cloth-covered

magnetic case

, adorned with an iconic image of Maradona lifting the World Cup trophy in 1986.

The value?

Nothing more and nothing less than 1500 euros or 162 thousand Argentine pesos.

The launch of the luxurious The Maradona Opus generated a lot of repercussion and also controversy.

"It is trucho"

, assured the lawyer Mauricio D'Alessandro when

Clarín

contacted him to know more details of the editorial novelty.

The lawyer Mauricio Dalessandro, attorney for Matías Morla, assured Clarín that Maradona did not authorize that book, nor did he give his testimony.

"Maradona did not sign anything or give that supposed interview,"

added the lawyer, who assured that they were going to initiate an investigation and a subsequent lawsuit.

"I even imagine that the heirs will too," he

speculated.

If this happens it would be striking because it would be the case that Matías Morla and Dalma, Gianinna and the rest of Maradona's children,

would fight together in court against the English publisher

.

It should be noted that D'Alessandro is the legal representative of Matías Morla,

who is president of Sattvica SA

, the company that owns the brands "El 10", "Maradona", "Diegol", "La Mano de Dios", " Maradona ”and“ El Diego ”, among other similar rubrics.
