The temperatures continued to decrease to become less than their levels by about 2 to 4 degrees Celsius, as a result of the country being affected by a weak extension of a shallow air depression accompanied by southwesterly currents in the front of an air depression in the upper atmosphere.

The Directorate General of Meteorology expected in its bulletin this morning that the weather will be partly cloudy in general to cloudy with the opportunity for showers of rain over the coastal and southwestern areas that will be heavy and sometimes accompanied by thunder and the weather will be relatively cold at night, warning of the occurrence of frost in the mountainous heights.

The winds will be westerly to southwesterly between light and moderate, with active gusts of dust in the eastern and desert regions, and the sea will be light to average high waves.

Tomorrow, temperatures will continue to drop to less than 4 to 6 degrees Celsius, and the weather will be between partly cloudy and cloudy and rainy at intervals, and the precipitation will be heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms, especially in the coastal areas. .

Scattered rains fell in some governorates during the past 24 hours, the highest of which was 20 mm in Sheikh Badr, Tartous Governorate.
