A young woman of Indian origin, aged 20 to 25, was found slaughtered on Wednesday in a wooded wasteland in Arnouville-lès-Gonesse (Val-d'Oise).
Around 1 p.m., it was a walker who made this macabre discovery before warning the police.
Investigators from the Versailles criminal brigade were tasked with carrying out the investigations.
The victim's neck showed a large gash and cuts on his face.
The young woman is not yet identified
She did not have any identity document on her and no report of disappearance was brought to the attention of the police.
"The person who discovered the body had passed the day before at 3 pm and hadn't noticed anything," explains a source close to the case.
The crime was therefore committed during the last 24 hours ”.
Officials searched the area in an attempt to locate a knife.
But the murder weapon was not on the scene.
"We will do everything to identify this woman," says our source.
The body was taken to the forensic institute where it will undergo an autopsy.
