Especially before Easter, more citizens want to be tested for the corona virus.
The demand has doubled in some cases, report the pharmacists in the district, who have been offering free rapid tests for several weeks - in Moosinning, Wartenberg, Neufinsing, Dorfen, Taufkirchen, Erding and Isen.

The time windows in which tests are carried out vary depending on the pharmacy and are also continuously adapted in many places.
The test results are available in 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the manufacturer.
The pharmacies must obtain the rapid tests independently from manufacturers or distributors.
That is why the pharmacies also test differently, with throat or nose swabs, or both.
Later they settle the costs with the public purse.
The Marien-Apotheke in Moosinningen started the first tests on March 10th.
“Now in the Easter season there is more going on than we had imagined.
But it can still be handled, ”says Alexandra Ismair.
There are around 40 to 60 registrations per day, “more on the weekend because people want to visit friends and family”.
In order to remain flexible, the appointments are only accepted by telephone.
“So we can sometimes push someone in between.
It wouldn't be so easy with an online portal. ”However, this has one disadvantage, as the 51-year-old admits with a laugh:“ The phone rings constantly. ”
In the Wartenberg test center, which the Weltrich'sche Apotheke and Nikolai-Apotheke operate jointly (we reported), the phone rarely rings.
“We do have a phone, but ask you to book appointments via the online portal.
There is also all the current information, ”says Stephanie Weltrich-Streit.
There are currently at least three employees working in the test center who test every five minutes.
"The more often our employees test, the more routine and faster they become," says Weltrich-Streit.
"You can even do the third test in ten minutes."
This is how Roland Fellermeier, owner of the Neufinsinger Rathaus-Apotheke, calculates: “You can get three swabs in ten minutes.” Two employees do it in a separate room in the pharmacy, every day for several hours.
"There are 30 to 45 tests per day," says Fellermeier.
Due to the high demand, he set up an online portal “because otherwise the phone won't stand still”.
Many people willing to test would also come to Neufinsing from the neighboring district of Ebersberg, says Fellermeier, from Pliening, Poing or Markt Schwaben.
Jens Krautscheid from the Park Pharmacy in Dorfen noticed something else: “Young people are almost completely absent.
Most of them come from kindergarten children or adults over 40 who want to visit their parents. ”Around 100 smears are taken every day in the Park pharmacy.
Here, too, the occupancy rate is greater, especially at the weekend.
The difficult thing about the rapid tests is the work afterwards: “We are busy disinfecting for one and a half hours every day.” Like all pharmacies, the Park Pharmacy also had to adjust its waste management.
Because simply disposing of the test strips in the residual waste is not an option.
They must be separated from infection-proof according to special regulations.
Since the effort and those willing to test will not decrease, the 46-year-old plans to increase personnel.
"In the next few days I'll have a few interviews with temporary workers."
“We'll get by in Taufkirchen,” says Lisa Ochsner, owner of the Schubert pharmacy.
"But my husband (Tobias Ochsner, owner of the town hall pharmacy in Semptpark in Erding, editor's note) has hired a few temporary workers," she knows.
Despite the additional work due to documentation, hygiene concept, training for staff, etc., Ochsner likes to do the job: “We are happy to be able to make a contribution.
We recently had a positive test result.
We practically pulled out a super spreader. ”The pharmacies only test citizens who are symptom-free.
And if you are symptom-free and Sars-Cov-2-positive at the same time, you can spread the virus particularly quickly and unnoticed.
If the result is positive, the health department is involved.
Then a PCR test has to be done, which is considered safer than a rapid test.
