Thailand, Canaries, Portugal… These destinations seem to belong to a distant past, where the coronavirus has not yet prevented travel.
And yet, it represents the new places of life of many French people working from home.
Some employees have taken advantage of the massive use of remote work to fly to countries less affected by the coronavirus, but also sunnier.

With the sanitary restrictions, there was no longer too much adventure in my life.

”says Maxime Reiz, employee at Payfit.
Since September, this French Tech company has offered its employees the opportunity to work from abroad, six months of the year, for a maximum of three months per country.
The length of stay in a single country cannot, in fact, exceed three months, a condition for maintaining the status of French resident.
Maxime thus left France for Thailand.
However, his company imposed an operational and secure IT equipment on him.
