During the Easter holiday, the police continued to vigorously inspect entertainment venues.

In the early hours of Saturday (April 3), the Triad Action Team of the Kwai Tsing Police District launched the "Plowing Hole Sweeping" operation and broke an unlicensed bar in Wah Kai Industrial Building, 49-53 Ta Chuan Ping Street, Kwai Chung , Seized 14 bottles of spirits and 36 cans of beer, with a total value of about 20,000 yuan.

It is understood that the bar involved is approximately 2,400 square feet. It has been in operation since December last year and has party room facilities such as dart machines.

During the operation, the police arrested 32 men and 16 women (17-30 years old) at the venue, including the 24-year-old male responsible for "unlicensed sale of alcoholic beverages", "unlicensed possession of alcoholic beverages for sale" and violation of the "Prevention" And Control of Diseases (Regulations and Instructions) (Business and Places) Regulations (Cap. 599F); others were arrested for "drinking in premises without a liquor license", and they were also involved in violating the "Prevention and Control The Illness (Prohibition of Group Gathering) Ordinance (Chapter 599G) was voted against, and some of the people involved have triad backgrounds.

In addition, the Kowloon City Police District Anti-Triad Action Team and the Hung Hom Divisional Task Force also smashed a suspected unlicensed bar at a unit at No. 41 Man Yu Street at 0:00 this morning. The male leader surnamed Weng (41 years old) , Suspected of "unlicensed sale of alcoholic beverages", "unlicensed possession of alcoholic beverages for sale" and violation of Chapter 599F, will be prosecuted.

16 men and 8 women (21 to 59 years old) customers were arrested for "drinking in a place without a liquor license" and were also charged with a "restriction order".

All are being detained for investigation.

During the operation, the police seized about 70 cans of beer and about 13 bottles of spirits, worth about 6,000 yuan.
