George V's marbled egg
The Parisian palace (re) installs its ephemeral pastry counter for the Easter holidays.
Pastry chef Michael Bartocetti offers a collection for the whole family, from the spectacular signature dark chocolate egg garnished with Piedmont hazelnut praline and salted butter caramel (€ 85) to the brioche egg filled with ganache (€ 32), in through the “Kids Eggs” (milk chocolate, € 28).
Our favorite?
The ultra-soft Tahitian chocolate and vanilla marbled egg, coated in hazelnut gianduja and stashed under a delicate layer of chocolate.
A memory of our childhood ... but much better!
