Greece condemned the Turkish regime's continued provocations by pushing boats carrying migrants to its territorial waters.
Reuters quoted Greek Minister of Immigration Notis Mitarachi as saying in a statement that the Greek coast guard recorded many incidents today that the Turkish fleet escorted boats of migrants to the borders of Europe in an attempt to escalate with Greece, adding: “There is no doubt that these immigrants are coming from Turkish shores. Turkey was supporting them, because they were not facing danger, ”calling on Turkey to stop this unjustified provocation.
Tensions escalated between Athens and Ankara last year, as the Turkish regime continued its illegal exploration of energy resources in the eastern Mediterranean and used the migrant paper to use it to blackmail European countries.
