Loire-Atlantique: lambs and sheep found dying after the evacuation of a Roma camp

Coming to evict a Roma camp, the police discovered shackled animals with their ears cut off. They were given to a collective of breeders from Loire-Atlantique.


Sickening discovery of the Loire-Atlantique police in Saint-Herblain, in the suburbs of Nantes, Thursday April 1.

Two lambs and three sheep were dying at the end of a Roma camp being evicted from rue Julian Grimau, on the western edge of the city.

Four skins of dead animals also littered the ground.

The surviving animals were handed over to the collective of looted breeders of Loire-Atlantique, who volunteered to take care of them.

The Loire-Atlantique National Police indicates that no arrest has taken place but that an investigation is underway to identify and find the culprits.
