Today, the Dutch Ministry of Health announced the suspension of the use of the British-Swedish company AstraZeneca vaccine against the Corona virus to vaccinate people under 60 years of age.
Dutch media reported that, after consultations with the relevant health institutions, Minister of Health Hugo de Yonghe issued a decision to suspend the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine, which would lead to the cancellation of about 10,000 planned vaccinations.
It is noteworthy that a number of countries, most of which are members of the European Union, have suspended the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine due to reports of blood clots in people who received the vaccine.
