The Government of Joe Biden presented its first report on the situation of human rights in the world.

In Latin America, the document highlights, among other things, abuses committed by the security forces in various countries.

"We will use a wide range of tools to stop abuses and hold those responsible to account with laws that provide new avenues to punish those who violate human rights," warned Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State.
