The tragic end of an anti-terrorist operation in Tunisia: a suspected suicide bomber has blown herself and her baby up. A second child survived.


A woman killed herself and her baby in an anti-terrorist operation in the mountainous region of Tunisia near the Algerian border.

Security forces initially killed an Islamist extremist there, as the Interior Ministry announced.

Thereupon the alleged suicide bomber, who does not come from Tunisia, detonated an explosives belt and killed her baby in the process.
