Only what is actually allowed at Easter in Bavaria?
Which regions are already in lockdown and which corona rules apply?
An overview.
Munich - Easter is actually family time in Bavaria.
Easter breakfast in a large group with grandma and grandpa, aunt and uncle, cousins and maybe even mass.
Actually.
But Bavaria still has the coronavirus pandemic under control.
That's why everything is different this Easter.
But what is actually the case?
If you have long since lost track of all the corona rules, regional lockdowns, incidence limit values and no longer valid opening matrices, you are certainly not alone.
We are therefore trying to give an overview of the Corona rules in the Free State at Easter.
It won't be easy.
In other words: a lot is allowed in the beautiful district of Schweinfurt.
In the rest of Bavaria rather less.
Because a lot depends on the incidence in your district.
Let's start with the valid, incidence-independent rules.
Corona rules at Easter in Bavaria - shopping: what is actually open?
What is actually open?
So, of course, on the holidays of Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday no more than before, so almost nothing except gas stations.
On Holy Saturday, on the other hand, a surprising amount.
Merkel's planned Easter rest was withdrawn by herself.

This is why hardware stores and garden centers are also open on Holy Saturday.
In addition to supermarkets and all other grocers, of course, hairdressers and other body-friendly services as well as bookstores and shoe stores.
According to the judgment of the Bavarian Administrative Court, the latter may reopen, regardless of the incidence.
The arguments of the judges in a nutshell: If hardware stores and bookstores are so vital to survival according to the legislator, then you cannot forbid the shoe stores to open.
And all of this applies completely regardless of your personal incidence.
That means, despite the dangerous British mutant in your district, you can still go shopping on Saturday.

Yes.
Easter is the most important festival in Christianity.
Nobody dares to do it.
Not even Markus Söder.
How beneficial full churches are in the current incidence situation remains to be seen.
But yes, you can.
However, after crossing the church gate, the following applies:
Cross (without holy water!)
Wear an FFP2 mask continuously
Keep distance!
No singing!
Pastors, priests, rabbis must register the mass in advance with the responsible district authority.
And that ends with the incidence-independent rules.
Everything else depends on the magic number 100 (nobody has been talking about 35 for months).
Corona contact restrictions at Easter in Bavaria - who can I actually meet?
According to Precht: Grandma, Grandpa, Papa, Mama - who can I actually visit at Easter - and if so, how many?
The question can actually be answered relatively easily: almost no one or all of them one after the other.
Even if the latter is certainly not in the spirit of the inventor.
Basically:
Incidence over 100:
Only your own household plus one other person of your choice.
In addition, as many children under the age of 14 as you want are allowed, provided they come from both of the households mentioned above.
Incidence below 100:
two households, but a maximum of five people.
Here, too, the exception for children under 14 applies.
Incidence under 35, or
: If you live in the beautiful district of Schweinfurt (not the city, it's over!), That is the only region in Bavaria under 35 currently.
So: The around 115,000 people in the beautiful district of Schweinfurt are actually allowed to meet ten people and a maximum of three households.
Plus all legitimate and illegitimate children under 14.
Corona rules at Easter: curfews apply here
And curfews?
They were abolished across Bavaria, weren't they?
Yes and no.
In other words: There is no curfew in the Schweinfurt district.
Not even in all other Bavarian districts with an incidence below 100. Many are no longer.
Currently around 15. This can only be said on a daily basis.
Two examples: In Munich, the curfew will apply again from Easter Sunday.
In the district of Munich, despite a similar incidence, probably not until Tuesday.
Nobody can say exactly at the moment.
If you want to be on the safe side, take another look at the website of the district office you trust.
Wherever it is safe, the motto is: stay at home from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
There are exceptions, but there must be good reasons.
Unfortunately, strolling home from a private Easter party after 10 p.m. is not one of them.
Unfortunately, you don't enjoy a mild spring evening in the English Garden either.
Corona rules at Easter - what if I just travel?
On vacation: Yes, well, theoretically you can travel to and from Bavaria, even if Markus Söder strongly advises against it.
Please note the currently valid travel warnings for the European vacation countries.
Apart from that, it is well known that when traveling by air, a test is mandatory in the country of travel before the return flight.
So. Hopefully you now have a little more overview.
Finally: stick to the applicable rules.
