[Easter and Ching Ming Festival Weather] On the second day of the long Easter holiday, the weather continued to be hot. The citizens took advantage of the long holiday to visit various districts.

The Observatory recorded a high temperature of 30.6 degrees Celsius at the headquarters this (3rd) afternoon, breaking the record for the highest temperature this year.

The Observatory predicts that tomorrow’s Ching Ming Festival and Easter weather will continue to be hot, and the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees Celsius. Earlier forecast is slightly lowered by 1 degree. The Observatory recorded 30.6 degrees Celsius this afternoon, and 31.3 degrees Celsius in Yuen Long and Ta Kwu Ling. Following yesterday's (2nd) high temperature of 30.5 degrees Celsius, it "breaks the top" to set the highest temperature record this year.

According to the Observatory, the high-altitude anticyclone is bringing generally fine weather to the coast of Guangdong. It is predicted that Hong Kong will be hot and dry in the afternoon, with mild to gentle southerly winds.

Tomorrow is the Ching Ming Festival and Easter. It is predicted that the weather will still be hot and there will be sunshine for some time.

The Observatory’s forecasts range from 24 degrees Celsius to 30 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature is lowered by 1 degree from the previous day’s forecast.

According to the Observatory’s automatic regional weather forecast, Sheung Shui, Lau Fau Shan, Shek Kong and other places predict that it will rise to 32 degrees Celsius in the afternoon.
