On Thursday it will be partly cloudy to clear, with a significant drop in temperatures and they will be normal for the season.

Meanwhile, about 1.2 million hikers visited nature reserves and national parks throughout the country during Passover and the Sabbath.

The Nature and Parks Authority stated that the leading sites were Tel Ashkelon National Park, Masada, Yarkon National Park (Tel Afek), Caesarea, Ein Gedi Reserve, Tzipori National Park and the Banias Reserve.

On Saturday, about 100,000 travelers visited the various sites.

Raya Soraki, director of the Public and Parks Authority's Division of Public and Community Affairs, said: "This year, the holiday was characterized by a wide distribution of travelers in all parts of the country, from the north to the south."
