The Homs junior gymnastics team managed to achieve second place in the ranking of the teams participating in the Republic Championship, which was held recently in Damascus.
The national team won 4 silver and two bronze, through the players Julie Al-Suleiman, Rahaf Fares, Rawan Ali and Marah Ali.
The head of the technical subcommittee for gymnastics, Shadi Suleiman, indicated in a statement to the SANA sports correspondent that these results came as a result of the great efforts made during the last period in order to develop the game and refine the talents of age groups despite the difficulties that faced the training, most notably the lack of training equipment, indicating at the same time that the governorate is rich With many talents that need care and attention.
It is noteworthy that the championship was held with the participation of the governorates of Hama, Homs, Aleppo, Sweida, Lattakia, Damascus, Tartous, Daraa and Quneitra.
