Since the publication of the column of forty AP-HP crisis medical directors, in "Le Journal du dimanche", the tension has continued to rise this week between Martin Hirsch and the executive.
So much so that, according to our information, the Minister of Health Olivier Véran ended up summoning Hirsch to the Ministry of Health this Friday evening, for a tête-à-tête of nearly an hour and a frank explanation with the scent of reframing.
In the eyes of the minister, the public letter exchange between the boss of the AP-HP and the deputy LREM Florian Bachelier, revealed by "Le Parisien", was the last straw.
"It is the campaign director of Madame Hidalgo, almost, if we listen to him well", had accused, Tuesday, Bachelier on CNEWS.
"Campaign of slander," retorted Hirsch in the letter unveiled by our newspaper.
For Véran, it was too much.
“The epidemic is in full swing in the capital.
The French expect us to be at work and to protect them.
This is clearly not the time to waste time or energy in some controversy and other fights, ”said those around him.
Clearly, Hirsch was asked to focus on crisis management.

The minister also very little appreciated that 41 AP-HP crisis medical directors say they have to prepare to "sort out patients" to face the third wave of Covid-19, when he considers that all is not carried out within the hospital group to evacuate Parisian patients to regions which have deprogrammed interventions to receive them.
This Friday evening, it was therefore also for the minister to increase the pressure for the medical evacuations to be carried out more consistently.
The opportunity also to send a message on the opening of intensive care beds in Paris, which he wishes to see increase.
In their forum, the medical directors of the AP-HP crisis alerted them to a "disaster medicine situation where there will be a flagrant mismatch between needs and available resources".
But many Macronists saw in this text a "political offensive" by the boss of the AP-HP, criticizing him for his proximity to the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo.
And this, in a context, where his criticisms of the strategy of the executive had already cooled relations.
"The only campaign I am leading is not political, it is on the health front, with caregivers, for patients," Hirsch retorted.
It remains to be seen whether the meeting this Friday evening will be enough to ease the tensions.
