The Russian embassy in Pyongyang reported via Facebook that foreign diplomats and humanitarian workers have left North Korea in recent months due to a shortage of goods and unprecedented restrictions to halt the spread of COVID-19.
This strategy by leader Kim Jong-Un seems to have worked from a public health point of view, since so far it has not been reported, or there are no indications of a major coronavirus outbreak in the Asian country.
