Ten people, including a child, were killed and others were wounded in a terrorist bombing in a popular café in Shanjani district in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
A previous toll had indicated that five people were killed in the suicide bombing.
And Agence France-Presse quoted Somali police spokesman Sadiq Adam Dodicho as saying that a suicide bomber blew himself up in a cafe, killing 10 people and wounding others, indicating that the police cordoned off the scene immediately.
On the fifth of last month, more than 20 people were killed and dozens were injured in a terrorist car bombing in Somalia.
The Somali capital and other areas in the country are witnessing bombings and attacks, most of which are attributed to the extremist youth movement linked to the Al Qaeda terrorist organization.
