A 26-year-old girl who was spending the long weekend in Bariloche was found dead in the waters of the Goye stream, in Colonia Suiza, and the Río Negro justice is investigating the circumstances in which the event occurred.
The body of the woman, identified as
Teresita Bulfón
, was found in the Goye stream with all her belongings, her personal documentation and a backpack with accessories to spend time outdoors.
Among the possible hypotheses, it adds a greater weight that would indicate that
"it would have been the product of a fall and slide into the waters of the stream"
, according to the sources.
The provincial justice is gathering information to reconstruct the conditions in which the events occurred, in order to rule out or not evidence of criminality.
In the next few hours, the autopsy will be carried out, according to what the Covid-19 protocol indicates, once the result of the body swab has been obtained.
The strongest hypothesis is that the young woman fell from about 10 or 12 meters high.
The Rio Negro Public Prosecutor's Office said in a statement that it was
"a cyclist who notified the police
of the discovery of the young woman's body submerged in water, meters from provincial route 79."
"The woman was found at the scene with all her belongings. Not only did she carry a fanny
pack with
her personal documentation, but she also
carried a backpack with accessories to spend time outdoors,"
the statement said.
As it turned out, Bulfón, who had studied Design in Visual Communication at the National University of La Plata, had temporarily stayed at
the Hueney Ruca campsite, about 23 kilometers from Bariloche
, where he had his tent installed and planned to return to Buenos Aires in the next few hours.
"I was alone.
Like so many girls her age, we are struck by the fact that they come alone.
But until Thursday, everything had passed normally ”, Omar Goye, administrator of the campsite, admitted to the
Río Negro
newspaper
.
Goye said that the young woman left her bag and backpack in custody and
said that she would go for a walk because later, she had a flight.
“When night fell and he did not return, we became concerned.
I made several calls to his cell phone that we had written down on the sheet but it turned off, "
said Goye, who assured that, that same Thursday night, he contacted the Colonia Suiza police detachment but they told him that" to make the investigation of whereabouts, you had to let 24 hours pass ”.
Teresita Bulfón was from La Plata and had studied design.
“The next day, I went early and left the data.
We expressed our concern that he had left his luggage and had not returned.
We also called the people of the Andino Club to check if he had gone to the mountains but the truth is that he had left without equipment.
He told us that he was going to walk as if he were going to the fair here, "said Goye.
The search for signs included the inspection of some small, totally rugged trails that start from the sides of the Goye stream bridge and reach the bed itself.
These are precarious tracks that do not have railings, signs or any improvement and where the ground is unstable, due to the presence of loose stone on the surface.
They also estimated that from the bridge to the stream
the height is similar to that of a fourth floor
, that is, about ten or twelve meters, so the young woman could have fallen there.
At the scene of the incident, the prosecutor on duty, Tomás Soto, and the chief prosecutor on duty, Betiana Cendón, worked in addition to the Criminalistics Cabinet and sub-station 55, station 27 and Volunteer Firefighters of Bariloche.
