In regaining the beauty of his experience, its uniqueness, and loyalty to the artistic and literary stature known to the Syrian cultural life, it hosted, as usual, every year the Heshon Art Gallery honoring the spirit of the creator Issa Baajano

The exhibition titled “Greetings to Heshon 8” comes on the ninth anniversary of the departure of an artist who chose to be known by the name of his village in the Latakia countryside, derived from ancient mythology, “Heshon” in reference to “the god of wild creatures” to find its echo in many of his works that are based on Ugaritic mythology The Mesopotamian civilization and his own experience in drawing animals in addition to nearly 40 works by 16 artists from the artist's friends in Ajano were distinguished by the diversity of their styles and the richness of their themes.

The sculptor Muhammad Ba'ajano, the brother of the late artist, considered in a statement to SANA's correspondent that Lattakia presented artists who had important experiences that left their mark in Syria and the world, including Heshon, who was distinguished by his ability to color his experience in different ways that correspond to the stages of his life that were marked by his possession of a real artistic project in addition to the personality of the human artist who Everyone loved him and loved them.

A friend of the late plastic artist Mohamed Badr Hamdan stressed the importance of honoring as a fine human condition for a creative artist who left our world early, noting the importance of such exhibitions because they form a memory of artistic experiences that enriched the cultural movement while working to develop it through documentary films and intellectual seminars that introduce new artistic generations to these experiences and their uniqueness.

Partner of Heshon in more than 16 art galleries and many art groups such as Ugarit, Ababil and others, Muhammad Asaad “Samuqan” considered that participating in an exhibition bearing the name of this creator is a tribute to the artists themselves by celebrating an artist who formed a pioneering case in plastic art and the intellectual depth of his work and enriched him with Syrian history from paintings. Research and writings in criticism, story and poetry, as well as his relationship to his surroundings and his ability to give and influence others.

Plastic artist Ali Maqaws, who knew the late artist and friend, felt that it was important to celebrate the anniversary of the departure of an artist who possessed a beautiful obsession with art and literature by presenting his works and the works of his fellow artists, which in his opinion reflects a state of loyalty and love.

The experience of the artist Heshon, who was born in Lattakia in 1954-2012, was distinguished by its richness and diversity. His works were acquired by public and private bodies in Syria and various countries of the world, in addition to his research and work in the fields of critical studies, artistic research writings, short story and poetry.
