Erding - Knowing what to do in an emergency can save lives: five new paramedics from the BRK Erding have now passed their exams.


Erding - Knowing what to do in an emergency can save lives: five new paramedics from the BRK Erding have now passed their exams.

The BRK district association in Erding has trained five new paramedics.

The course comprises 60 lessons and ends with a written and practical exam.

From bone and joint injuries to shock and stroke to cardiac arrest, the five participants had to prove their knowledge.

All passed: Andreas Baumann (Dorfen water rescue service), Ann-Kathrin Prell, Larissa Baum and Jana Mair (all Erding water rescue service) as well as Kevin Riedl, who works in training.

Course instructor Jan Huebner was visibly proud of his protégés. There is always a lot of effort involved in conducting an examination. Here the course instructor was supervised by the examiners Sabrina Steinbrecher, Bernd Janowsky and Dr. Christian Rabl supports. In order to create some reality in the case studies, the emergency presentation team acts. Make-up artists and actors are active here: Claudia Brummer, Sophie Tischler and Tobias Hörmannsdorfer.
