The actor Luis Brandoni was one of the four guests in the second program of "La noche de Mirtha" (the thirteenth) and there, he gave his opinion on the role of the Argentine Association of Actors during the first months of quarantine;
He said that he
stopped being a partner after more than five decades
and was blunt with his definition: "
He no longer represents me
."
"I'm not going to talk because
I stopped being a partner after 55 years
, and having been general secretary for 11," Brandoni started.
And he continued: "I do not want to speak because it does not represent me.
It became the 'Kirchnerista Actors Association'
, and that does not represent me, nor many other Argentine actors, so I am not going to comment on that," he criticized with blunt tone.
The entity,
chaired by Alejandra Darín,
was
highly questioned
during the months of strict quarantine, when several artists asked him to intercede and present protocols to be able to work, worried about the difficult economic situation that affected them.
At first, before the claims,
the head of the association argued that the item was not essential.
Taking advantage of the debate on the theater sector and how bad it was during the pandemic, Brandoni pointed out that "you
have to do theater every night
and let people know that they can comply with the protocols."
"There are nights when Corrientes Street makes you want to cry. I think people don't go out of fear; if you go to Palermo it's full of people drinking beer," said the actor, who was the union's general secretary between 1974 and 1983.
The actor also believed that
hatred in politics is a creation of Kirchnerism
.
And he even talked about football: "I got divorced. I don't want to be an accessory to a space that embarrasses me. Argentina is the only country in the world where visiting fans can't go to watch football," reflected Brandoni, who is River's life partner.
The contagion of coronavirus by President Alberto Fernández was another of the topics that Juana Viale proposed at the table.
"Is this ever going to end?" Brandoni asked with anguish to the City's Health Minister, Fernán Quirós, another of the four guests on the program.
A table that was completed by the deputy Amalia Granata and the journalist Eduardo Feinmann.
On the subject, the actor recalled that he was infected, but he went through the picture with almost no symptoms and after six days he was "thrown out of the sanatorium."
