The head of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Muhammad Baqer Qalibaf, said today that the signing of the document on comprehensive cooperation between Iran and China is an important warning for America to realize that international relations are changing rapidly at the expense of Washington's interests.
"America is no longer in a position that allows it to impose unilateral plans or agreements on independent countries," IRNA quoted Qalibaf as saying, pointing out that the signing of the cooperation document between Iran and China "is a strategy that expresses a new reality."
Qalibaf called for translating this document into real projects, programs and cooperation in the economic and political field and making it a model for building strategic relations with other countries, especially neighboring countries.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi signed in Tehran on the 27th of last month a comprehensive document for strategic cooperation between the two countries for 25 years.
