The Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh hosted the signing ceremony of the poetry group (Salt for this Sea), the first publication of the poet Ahmed Dakhil, after a literary symposium that illuminated the aesthetics of the group.

The collection includes 25 poems that represent the poet Dakhil's experience, which extends to about 20 years, and indicates his tendency to lyricism and flowery. The group’s themes also varied between national, patriotic, emotional and humanitarian.

Novelist Dr. Hassan Hamid made a boat in his intervention between the experience of the poet intruder in (Salt for this Sea) and the experience of the poet Fawaz Eid, one of the camp poets who wrote their poems from the pain of alienation and displacement, carrying with them their homeland in the bags of their travels, poems, art and writings that did not deviate from the Palestinian heritage and adhere to the land and call for Resistance and standing in the face of normalization and acquiescence agreements.

The novelist Hamid also drew attention to the magnitude of sadness, nostalgia, love, humanity, and the high culture that the group’s poems carry, heralding an important Palestinian poet who is an extension of resistance poets.

Dr. Abdullah Issa saw that an intruder in the group (Salt for This Sea) does not announce a final break with the perceptions that ruled the modern Palestinian and Arab poem, but rather starts from what it ended in a process of biasing its aesthetic achievements and building on them in an effort to develop them, pointing out that the group is characterized by the multiplicity of its connotations and the interference of the self Poetic, but the vision in (salt for this sea) is clear through the last poem that bore the title of the group to mean by which he means the Sea of Palestine.

The poet Bilal Ahmed referred in his intervention to the building of the poetic group that took the form of the modern Arabic poem, the metaphor for most of its poems, so it came to the actions of the converging and rounded sea, noting the aesthetic structure of the texts in terms of innovative images, transparent symbols and poetic language that was characterized by ease and simplicity and that characteristic of resistant poetry in addition to quotation and reclining On the religious text because of its impact on the same reader.

The seminar was moderated by the critic Omar Jumaa, who drew attention to the group’s richness in modern visions, considering it an addition that enriches the library of Palestinian Arabic poetry.
