Until September, around thirty photographs taken by the star presenter of Koh-Lanta are to be discovered in the city.

We know him in front of the cameras but Denis Brogniart is just as comfortable behind the lens.

Until September, the small town of Bièvres, where he has lived for 15 years, exhibits around thirty of his photos in the open air, all taken during personal and professional trips.

Elephants in Tanzania, a shiny American car on Route 66 in the United States or even magnificent landscapes immortalized in Polynesia ... The exhibition by Denis Brogniart has the air of a round the world trip.

“These photos are twenty years of life,” he sums up.

These are places, meetings or even atmospheres.

I remember the context for each of them.

"I like going to see people"

When he is traveling, the star host of TF 1 is never far from his camera.

“This passion allows me to get away from my job,” he continues.

When we shoot Koh-Lanta, I like to go alone during breaks.

By boat, by bike, on foot, I like to go see people.

"Here, I'm not the TV guy": Denis Brogniart and Bièvres, a story that lasts

From his solitary escapades, Denis Brogniart brings back snapshots taken from life.

Displayed in front of the town hall, a magnificent Polynesian sunset instantly catches the eye.

“That day, I was cycling around the island of Raiatea,” he says.

I saw this man in the distance on a canoe but it did not seem to move.

I take some pictures, I get closer, but the canoe still was not moving.

I understood why when I went to see him.

This man, the eight-man canoe world champion, was training.

His canoe was attached, which makes the training even harder.

Agnès and Christiane, two inhabitants of Bièvres, discover the photo exhibition of Denis Brogniart.

An auction to fund cancer research

Agnès and Christiane, two residents of 70 and 77, stop in front of the photos of the star host: “Denis Brogniart or not, what matters is that it's beautiful!

they appreciate.

Right now, we want to see smiles, to see the sun.

There, some faces are a little sad, but the exposure is beautiful.

"

In September, when the photos are taken, an auction will be organized to benefit the ARC Foundation, which funds cancer research.
