The evidentiary phase of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's trial will open today (Monday) in a hearing to be held in the Jerusalem District Court.
This is the beginning of the central and long part of the trial, and all the defendants in the Alps cases, including Prime Minister Netanyahu, will attend the hearing.
The opening speech will be delivered by the Head of the Prosecution and the Deputy State Attorney, Attorney Liat Ben-Ari.

Ben-Ari is expected to give a speech for about half an hour, and her words will be directed mainly to the media.
It will repeat the prosecution's allegations that these are serious charges and offenses allegedly committed in the course of the Prime Minister's office and using his governmental power in a deliberate, orderly and continuous manner.
