A ten-year-old girl was killed today (Sunday) and two others, the father and her brother, were moderately and lightly injured, following an ATV accident near Road 458 in the Kfar Adumim area, in the Binyamin Regional Council.
MDA and union and rescue teams who arrived at the scene determined the girl's death on the spot, and also evacuated the father and six-year-old son to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus. Preliminary investigation reveals that the ATV overturned when the three were inside.
MDA paramedics Bosmat Lubiner and Shalom Galil said: "It was a serious car accident. The three wounded were lying on a mountainside near an ATV. The girl who suffered a severe multi-system injury was without signs of life, and after medical tests with the help of a doctor she was pronounced dead. "Those who were moderately and lightly injured were conscious, and with the help of an SUV, we transferred them to an intensive care unit and they were evacuated to the hospital when their condition was stable."
