Jachenau - A Nuremberg resident experienced a nasty surprise when he returned to his Mercedes at around 6.45 p.m. on Wednesday, which was parked in the Schützenhaus car park in Jachenau.
His car was badly damaged.
Fine scratches in the paint
According to the police, the car had been parked on the left side of the bridge at the edge of the road since 12.10 p.m.
The man from Nuremberg found that the entire left side of the vehicle from the bumper to the rear was covered with fine scratches in the paint.
Trailer had branches and twigs loaded
Since the Nuremberg man met a tractor with a trailer shortly before his return, which was transporting branches and twigs on the trailer in a very large and protruding manner, the police now assume that the unknown tractor driver is responsible for the paint damage.
However, he continued to drive without reporting the damage or leaving a message on the Mercedes.
The property damage is considerable at around 5000 euros.
The police asks the telephone number 0 80 41/76 10 60 for information on the person who caused the accident.
