The evidentiary phase of the trial of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened today (Monday) and drew reactions from both sides of the barricade of the political map.
As expected, Likud members expressed support for their leader while his political opponents wrote against him.
MK Tamar Zandberg said: "Only two or three years ago it was clear that a prime minister with a serious indictment could not serve, get up and resign.
Does not hold the throat of a country in a time of crisis, does not send fanatics to offer government coups and threaten the rule of law as in a mafia.
We are in a nightmarish reality where it is difficult to locate the obvious, but this is how it should be and this is how it will return to be. "

Coalition chairman Miki Zohar said: "The Netanyahu trial will be remembered forever as one of the prosecutor's moments of depression, if not the lowest.
"The citizens of Israel will never forget that the State Attorney's Office crossed many red lines in its decision to oust the Israeli Prime Minister at all costs, contrary to the will of the people."

"Any other result, not only is it not valuable, it distorts democracy."
Blue and white chairman Bnei Gantz said: “No man is above the law.
I trust the judges and our justice system, and I have no doubt that Netanyahu will do justice. "
