The Brazilian Ministry of Health recorded 1,319 deaths and 28,645 new cases of Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours, as the country faces the worst periods of the epidemic since its emergence.
Local media quoted sources in the ministry as saying that the total number of injuries in the country rose to 13 million, 13601, and deaths to 332752.
Brazil still ranks second in the world in numbers of injuries and deaths, after the United States.
The World Health Organization has warned of the dangerously high rates of Corona in Brazil and urged all Brazilians to adhere to preventive measures to stop the spread of the epidemic.
