Drama in Russia: Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been transferred to a medical facility after suffering from high fever, difficulty breathing and a severe cough, the Russian newspaper Izvestia reported tonight.
The Russian newspaper reported that the Russian Prison Service reported on the hospitalization of the opposition man but did not elaborate on his condition or the treatment he was receiving.
Sources close to Nabalani reported earlier that 15 inmates staying at the penal colony where the opposition leader is being held had contracted tuberculosis and were taken to hospital.
Navalny complained in the two weeks that he was not feeling well and was denied access to medication and medical treatment.
Nablani is imprisoned in a penal colony in Vladimir district, east of Moscow, a detention facility that is considered cruel and harsh.
