The French judicial authorities have opened an investigation into violations committed by government ministers, which are considered a violation of the measures to combat the Corona pandemic in the country.
The Associated Press quoted the Public Prosecutor's office as saying that it has opened an investigation looking into possible accusations of endangering people and working undercover after ministers violated restrictions imposed due to the Corona virus and went to restaurants that open their doors secretly.
For his part, government spokesman Gabriel Atal told the local "LCA" channel that the authorities were investigating reports of parties organized and restaurants operating in secret for months, explaining that 200 suspects had been identified and that they were facing severe penalties without revealing their identities.
France is facing a third wave of the Corona pandemic, and it ranks fourth in the world in terms of injuries and deaths, with the total number of injuries reaching four million and 822 thousand and 470, while the total number of deaths reached 96,678 cases.
