Tehran-SANA
A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Ali Agazadeh, announced his country's rejection of the US proposal to abolish the embargo imposed on Iran, step by step.
Agazadeh said in a statement to Fars News Agency that "the decisive policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is to abolish all embargoes imposed on it, and America must compensate for the losses suffered in our country."
Agazadeh renewed his country's position of refusing to conduct direct negotiations with the American side before fulfilling its conditions by canceling all the embargo measures that it had unjustly and unlawfully imposed against the Iranian people.
Iran and the Four Plus One Group, which includes Germany, Britain, France, Russia and China, agreed last Friday to hold new talks in Vienna tomorrow, to clearly define measures for lifting sanctions on Iran and implementing the nuclear deal, including by holding meetings of relevant expert groups.
Tehran affirmed its refusal to conduct any direct negotiations with Washington before returning to the agreement completely and lifting the unilateral sanctions it imposes on Iran.
