Today, the Italian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 296 new deaths from the emerging coronavirus, compared to 326 the previous day, while the daily toll of new infections was 10680, compared to 18,025 cases yesterday.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying that the total number of deaths from Covid 19 rose to 111,326 since the outbreak of the epidemic in the country in February last year, which is the second largest number of deaths in Europe after Britain and the seventh in the world.
The ministry added that the total number of injuries in the country has reached 3 million and 678 thousand and 944 injuries so far.
