LG Electronics Industries announced that it will stop the production and sale of smart cellular devices.
The South Korean company said in a statement on its official website that it had to stop its line of smartphones after it had suffered losses of 4.5 billion over the past six years.
As a result of these losses in the mobile phone sector, LG retreated in front of the Chinese competitors, as it emerged from the list of the best companies producing smart phones in the third quarter of 2020 after it was ranked third among the major phone companies in 2013.
