Chef Assaf Granit, the reality judge for "Chef's Games", who also received his first Michelin star about two months ago with his Parisian restaurant, "Broken", arrives at Sharona Market in Tel Aviv with a new and particularly intriguing stand.
Granit and the rest of the "Mahane Yehuda" group will soon open a Tel Aviv branch of "Gigi Kobla", the group's Jerusalem sandwich stand, in Sharona Market, which has undergone a facelift and turned from a boring place to a place that needs to be reached especially hungry.
The people of the camp define the stand as "the fruit of the love of Shabbat and Kaunas of Shabbat, full of all good, or in other words - 'Kovla'".
Among the prominent dishes at the place is the "Kobla Caesar" - a crispy double schnitzel with a short salad and aioli "of the most expensive", a Kobla corned beef with a secret spice mixture "from the reactor in Dimona", according to them, Kobla Fish which is a fresh Jerusalem fish swimming in lava and a vegan dish of burnt cabbage On charcoal with chimichurri and hyssop.
Another, more mysterious dish, is GG Gold - a special dish that changes according to the chef's decision.
In addition to Granit and his partner in such a successful concept called the "Mahane Yehuda Group", Gigi will also be headed by Chef Michael Yedid, who also led the Jerusalem branch.
