Summary.
On Thursday March 25, a funeral is organized in Bain-de-Bretagne, a small town in Ille-et-Vilaine, located south of Rennes.
Several hundred people gathered on the forecourt of the church to pay a final tribute to Magali Blandin.
Last February, this mother of four was reported missing.
Significant research resources are put in place to find it, without success.
The investigators quickly took an interest in her husband, Jérôme Gaillard, with whom she had been divorcing since September 2020. On Thursday, March 18, he was arrested by the gendarmes and placed in police custody.
The next day, at night, he confesses to the murder of Magali Blandin.
Before taking action, he would have first proposed to acquaintances to execute this crime for a large sum of money.
Source code traces the thread of the investigation with Zoé Lauwereys, journalist at the Police-Justice service of Parisien.
