While most of the economy was in the IDF or working from home between closures, the government began to compete with companies such as Wework and establish subsidized joint work complexes in the Galilee.
The Ministry for the Development of the Periphery, the Negev and the Galilee has launched the first work complex in the Druze company in Majar and a complex in Hatzor HaGlilit will also be launched soon.
Klika Majar covers 280 m2 and includes 24 open and closed workstations, 2 offices, a conference room and a fully equipped kitchen.
The monthly cost for an open work station is NIS 300 and for an office NIS 1,200.

Klika Hatzor HaGlilit covers 160 square meters, including 20 work stations, 5 closed offices, a meeting room and a kitchenette. An open work station will cost NIS 500 per month and a closed office NIS 1,300.
The work complexes in Hatzor and Majar are part of a move to establish 45 complexes in the Negev in the Galilee and on the social periphery, totaling more than NIS 90 million.
"There is no reason why the residents of the periphery should not have diverse employment opportunities near home," says Ariel Mashaal, director general of the Ministry of Periphery, Negev and Galilee Development. "The new complexes will connect entrepreneurs and technology communities across the country and create one large business community."
