Bayern star Thomas Müller was recently a guest in the stadium of the Hallbergmoos sports and leisure park - and he made himself useful there.
Hallbergmoos - The world champion faced a special challenge: “Painter versus Müller” was the motto.
Tino Knauth and Tino Ziburts, two regional class kickers from SpVgg Mitterdorf, were drawn to the Müller team.
The opponents of the trio: The “Team painter” with Alexander Neumann, Tobias Willrodt and Silvester Pawlowski from Dinslaken.
Color was brought into play on the 46 meter long wall
The first task: goal wall shooting - three up, three down.
The Müller team gained a valuable time advantage of three minutes, which they could use for the second task against the painting professionals.
The challenge: Bringing color into play on the 46 meter long stadium wall.
Three acts were canceled: creativity, precision and speed were required.
Anyone who knows the ambition of footballers and knows about Thomas Müller's strengths is not surprised that he and his team also set accents on the wall - and delivered a perfect strike result.
Even if in the end the “team painter” caught up three minutes behind and was so narrowly ahead.
As the loser of the challenge, Thomas Müller had to remove the traces of the colored encounter.
VfB is also one of the winners: The site wasn't just a challenge arena.
Brand ambassador Thomas Müller and the teams also painted for a good cause at the challenge of the paint manufacturer Caparol: Now the back wall of the grandstand in the sports park has a nice new coat of paint.
As expected, Müller rejects VfB's offer
VfB chairwoman Anna Klug was enthusiastic after the meeting: “Thomas Müller is super personable, easy-going, open and always has a brisk phrase on his lips.
He said he was very positive about our beautiful facility and above all about the great design of the first team's cabin. ”And with a twinkle in her eye she added: He wanted to hear from department manager Martin Gilch that Müller could also play football at VfB unfortunately not received.
