The Syrian role in confronting the occupation, supporting the Palestinian cause and the resistance are axes discussed in the lecture held by the Arab Writers Union by the researcher, Dr. Maan Salah El-Din Al-Ali.
The lecture, titled “Initiality of the Situation and Centralization of Issues,” in which Dr. Al-Ali focused on the principled foundations adopted by Syria since the beginning of the conflict with the enemy and its stability for decades in exchange for the failure of many Arab regimes regarding the central Arab issue.
The researcher Al-Ali pointed to the lofty values that the Syrians lived through, their response to external aggression, the continuous conspiracies that affected them, and their determination to make free decisions in the face of the attempts of external interference.
The lecturer explained that the struggle legacy is rooted in the Syrians' belief and inherited it from many Syrian personalities who devoted their lives to repel the aggression and occupation of Sultan Pasha al-Atrash, Sheikh Saleh al-Ali, Ibrahim Hanano, Izz al-Din al-Qassam and many others, which made the issue of resistance with its national and national dimensions and preserving dignity and relying on the approach of resistance one of the pillars The steadfast Syrian policy.
In a statement to reporters, the head of the Arab Writers Union, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hourani, said: “This lecture comes in a series of activities initiated by the Writers Union, which aims to stand by the Palestinian cause and support the culture of resistance and commitment in the face of the Western cultural invasion.”
