U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price said tonight (Monday) that his country does not intend to unilaterally ease Iran on the nuclear issue before the girls are formed on its way back to the agreement.
The remarks were made ahead of the indirect talks with Iran, which will take place tomorrow in Vienna mediated by European countries.
"We will not consider unilateral gestures or concessions to bring Iran to a better position [in contacts]," Price said, adding that "our goal in the talks in Vienna is to prepare the ground for the mutual obligations of the agreement. The original formula is arbitrary and existing: limited sanctions Nuclear power in exchange for a permanent limitation that can be controlled by the Iranian nuclear program. "

Price added that "our team in talks will talk about how Iran can return to fulfilling its obligations under the agreement, that is, permanent and rigid restrictions on the nuclear program. They will also talk about the steps the US will be willing to take to ease sanctions.
We do not take lightly the challenges that lie ahead.
"These are early stages of the talks. We do not expect a significant breakthrough in the upcoming talks, which will be difficult."
