The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, is expected to announce today (Monday) that as of May 17, residents of the kingdom will be able to travel outside the country to other countries, according to traffic light colors.

The countries will be divided according to the state of the corona virus in them, the number of active patients and also according to the number of residents vaccinated in them, where the more vaccinated the countries are, the higher they will receive a traffic light score.

According to the traffic light, British tourists traveling to green countries will not have to stay in isolation at all upon their return to their country.

Tourists coming from red countries will have to stay in the hotel in isolation for 10 days and undergo a corona test.

Tourists returning to the UK from orange countries will stay in self-isolation at home, and will not have to stay in a motel.

In fact, this is real good news for the Israeli tourism world, because Israel is currently in a situation where all the tourist cities in it are green and most of its elderly population has been vaccinated against the virus in two doses.

In light of this, it can be assumed that the bathing beaches in Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea, Tiberias and Eilat will be filled with English speakers starting in mid-May, which is a real message to the world of tourism in Israel.

An expression of this reality is a table published by Britain next to the traffic light, according to which Israel is in a better position than all the countries that carried out vaccinations, with the exception of the Gibraltar cliffs, which is the only country that surpasses Israel in the ranking.

However, a British source noted that "the Prime Minister has not gone into details at the moment to allow us further discussions according to the reality that will be on the ground".
