"Most of the work was to pour content and produce a kicking design."

This is not the first meeting between the young woman and Aronov, who eight years earlier had planned her parents' house and also the spacious and well-equipped master room that was a comfortable and luxurious living unit for her.

Now that she felt it was time to spread her wings and move to her own place, she bought a new apartment in a boutique building in Ramat Gan and turned to Aronov again so that she could incorporate dynamic solutions and emphases for each space that would allow her to work, live and entertain.

"The tenant's request was to produce a boutique apartment for her, a kind of suite in a hotel that would serve her for years and be flexible and versatile so that it would meet both her current and future needs," explains architect Aronov.

"The structural changes we created are relatively minor, and most of the work was to pour content and produce a kicking, modern and warm design. The landlady is a charming, vibrant young woman who hosts a lot and especially in the last year works a lot from home, so it was important for me to create a balanced and measured design. "With castor and character. Combinations of wood carpentry and measured touches of color warm the spaces and add interest and character to them."

Only the landlady knows where everything is "hiding."

"This apartment has everything: it is networked with internet points, electricity is smart electricity, the kitchen is equipped with all the most advanced appliances available and everything is collected into carpentry. There is a lot of dedicated carpentry for storage behind the sofa, but on a daily basis it looks like a decorative wall or interesting cladding." Adds the architect.

"Thus, whoever comes to the apartment is impressed by an elegant and presentable apartment and only the landlady knows where everything is 'hiding'.

Practical and effective carpentry has been designed with plenty of storage space that leaves the apartment looking clean and organized.

The area of the apartment is about 70 square meters and has a balcony of about 10 square meters.

It includes a master bedroom, a bathroom, a storage room that is now used as a closet, a guest bathroom and of course, a spacious, bright and stylish public area where the kitchen, living room and dining area are located. "When the landlady approached me, the apartment was ready, so we did Adjustments include breaking the wall between the bedroom and the bathroom and replacing it with an airy glass partition as well as replacing flooring, parquet, bathrooms, faucets and sinks.

At the same time, we designed a practical and effective carpentry that adds a very large area of storage and leaves the spaces tidy and organized at all times, "explains Aronov.

The choice of elements and materials allowed the architect to create a spacious, airy and continuous feeling: "We chose tight concrete-like tiles in a light shade and in unconventional dimensions of 1.00 / 3.00 m. Thickness (about 6 mm) allowed us to place them on top of the existing flooring.

The fact that they are almost free of breaks and connections creates the illusion of size and a feeling of a uniform, continuous and pleasant space. "

The dining area, which did not exist at all in the original plan, and is actually used (except for hospitality) as the landlady's main work area, the architect chose to cover with wounded architectural concrete, created by a concrete artist: "The idea was to create an anchor wall "The delicate lines and the monochromatic and balanced colors in the space. The public space is very calm and pleasant and the wall, which can be seen from the entrance, creates interest. The contrast adds a lot of character and uniqueness and what connects the wings is the black bench used for seating.

For the living room, the architect chose an asymmetrical sofa in order to break the symmetry and straight lines in the apartment.

"We worked on a scale of monochromatic colors of gray, white and black, which we broke with bright colors from time to time, to give interest and color to such a small apartment.

For the hallway leading from the public area to the private, Aronov chose parchment-patterned parquet that continues both in the bedroom and in the living room that currently serves as a walk-in closet but also has a sofa that opens to a bed for guests. "This is how we defined spaces and spaces.

In the bedroom we opened the wall that separated it from the bathroom and instead installed a fixed glass partition with a glass door that moved on rails.

Thus we created a sense of depth and continuity between the functions.

In addition, we replaced the flooring with fine flooring, installed sinks from Corian and replaced the original faucets with elegant brushed faucets as well as the toilets. "
