China has successfully tested a rocket engine powered by liquid oxygen and methane with a thrust of 10 tons.
The Chinese news agency Xinhua reported that the so-called "TQ" engine was independently developed by the private missile company "Land Space".
The engine was tested for more than 10,000 seconds, and its design, production, assembly and working quality were fully evaluated.
