The Director General of the General Authority of Qamishli National Hospital, Dr. Omar Al-Akoub, confirmed that the isolation department in the hospital is ready to receive cases infected with Coronavirus and is pre-equipped with a “PCR” device to confirm cases of infection with the virus.
Al-Akoub stated in a statement to SANA that the isolation department was expanded at the beginning of this year in the General Authority of the National Hospital, and that all medical supplies are available, including the department's medical staff.
Al-Akoub indicated that a workshop was implemented in cooperation with the Hasakah Health Directorate on pharmacovigilance for side effects on the "Covid 19" vaccine, which will be started during the coming period, indicating that there is a working group working to record cases of occurrence of a side effect of the vaccine.
