Geneva - Sana
The Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations and international organizations in Geneva Ibrahim Khreishi called on the international community to take decisive measures and to pressure the Israeli occupation to stop its crimes and the systematic killings against the Palestinians and hold those responsible accountable.
According to WAFA, Khreishi called in letters addressed today to the High Commissioner for Human Rights Bachelet, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Palestine Michael Link and the Special Rapporteur for extrajudicial executions, Maurice Tedbull, to condemn the murder of Osama Mansour and wounding his wife with bullets by the occupation forces northwest of occupied Jerusalem at dawn today And the need to hold accountable those responsible for this crime.
Khreishi clarified that the occupation continues its brutal practices in the occupied Palestinian territories in flagrant violation of international law and human rights, which is the direct cause of the Palestinian people's suffering as a result of the failure of the international community to shoulder its responsibilities, stressing the need to take practical steps and concrete measures to hold the occupation accountable for its crimes.
The occupation forces stormed the town of Bir Nabala, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, at dawn today, and targeted the car in which Osama Sidqi Mansour and his wife were traveling, resulting in a bullet wound to the head and his death, while his wife was wounded in the back.
