Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov confirmed the escalation of provocations committed by Ukraine and its Western backers in the Donbas region, warning of the consequences of these practices.

"We see provocative behavior and a greater challenge than ever before from Kiev and its Western backers led by the United States in Donbas ... Washington should be concerned and concerned about the consequences of this coordinated policy," Ryabkov said in a statement to TASS.

Ryabkov added that representatives of the Russian and American sides held talks recently on the situation in Donbas and said that the United States should express its concern about Ukraine's unacceptable behavior and not Russia's policy in this regard.

The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister made it clear that Kiev did not comply with the procedures stipulated in the Minsk agreements and constantly ignored them.

In turn, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People's Republic, Natalia Nikanorova, affirmed that "Kiev needs to escalate in Donbas to move away from settling the conflict politically while it is awaiting US approval of the military scenario for it."

"The escalation, especially at the media level, is being pumped by Kiev to use it as a pretext under which it asks the United States for permission to attack and perhaps support such as obtaining more weapons, trainers and money," she added, adding that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky hopes to obtain some kind of absolute authorization from the states. United or coordinating force scenario for conflict.

It indicated that, based on public information and actions taken by Ukraine, the likelihood of resuming hostilities in Donetsk is very high.
