250 Jewish high school students from across the United States landed in Israel today (Tuesday), in preparation for their participation in the "Alexander Moss" program at the Mosinson Youth Village in Hod Hasharon, which includes experiential studies, trips to Israel and seminars with Israeli lecturers, and continues throughout the semester.
The group was allowed to enter the country thanks to the intervention of Diaspora Minister Omar Yankelevich and the Jewish National Fund.
This is the first group to arrive in Israel since the sky closed about six months ago.
As soon as they landed, the students entered a joint isolation outline, approved in advance by the Ministry of Health, at the youth village, and then began the program.
The group was received in a small ceremony at Ben Gurion Airport, with the participation of Minister Yankelwitz, Chairman of the Zionist Organization Yaakov Hagoel, member of the board of directors of Keren Kimat LeIsrael and Jewspish National Fund David Yaari, director of the JNF Education and Community Division Minister Shalom Jerby JNF-USA in Israel Eric Michelson.
